The first one is another result of my reminiscing on Hungary's last appearance at a major football tournament as we finally qualified again for one after 30 years (see previous post). The last time around we thought our team was quite strong, so it was devastating to see them lose 0-6 to the Soviet Union as a nine year old. Better luck this time, lads!
The other one is more cheeky, as it comments on an issue that stirred up public sentiments quite high before Christmas in our fair country. Long story short, Ákos, a big-headed local pop star made some rather arrogant statements on what fulfilment women should strive for in life. Hungarian Telekom terminated his sponsorship as a result, which made the government resentful, as he is very well loved by them, even received a high state award after they had come to power.
